Asking for help is a sign of strength.
Hello! My name is Robin Bates-Pualuan, and I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor. If you’re seeking a therapist or counselor, you may be feeling lost, sad, worried, helpless, hopeless, exhausted, overwhelmed, frustrated. I’m so glad you’ve landed on my website in your search for relief from these feelings. It takes courage to look for help, especially when the last thing you feel is brave. But you’re already being courageous just by taking the step you’re taking right now. And you don’t have to do it alone. As a therapist and counselor, I work to provide a safe place for you to let it all out, sort through your thoughts and emotions, explore what’s happening in your life, and take action to create the life you want.
I am providing therapy services via online video conferencing throughout California, allowing you to get the help you need from home while taking care of your health and family. I am also a registered telehealth provider in Florida. Click here for Florida’s telehealth website.

The Benefits of Therapy
All of us, in the course of our lives, go through challenges. Many people find they need support and guidance to cope with those challenges. Seeking support to assist with life’s difficulties is a sign of resilience and a positive step in the right direction. As a licensed therapist and counselor, I have specialized training and experience to help you deal with the obstacles life throws your way.
During difficult times, our relationships with others can make all the difference. Relationships can be a source of support and nurturing, or they can be a source of stress and conflict. Many of my clients feel that something needs to change in their relationships with others. We look for areas that aren’t working and focus on how to help the relationship meet everyone’s needs better. Therapy is a good place to work on relationships with significant people in our lives inside or outside the therapy room, whether it be partners, parents, in-laws, friends, siblings, or co-workers.
